  I'm not quite sure when the turning point came..but i do know that it came after a beauty pageant that i had taken part in exactly 3 years ago..it was NO typical pageant for that rebellious year..you know how it is....u win once..and u win 'em all! but in reality such things are nothing but a fairytale...."winning that crown may seem EVERYTHING at first but like i said..reality checks in sooner or later and kicks u right in the butt...That's where i learned my first "so called beauty pageant" lesson-i figured wtf-never keep your feelings hidden...and when i found out the truth behind all those lies...it was already "too little too late" 

  So...today i am going to do a little sharing..my experience... and the truth behind the MMU pageant.

  Can that be? I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing..i picked up...and a dear old friend was on the other line...soon realized it was already 4 pm?? Gosh...i tend to take it for granted that i owned a very reliable alarm clock..when the truth is..i bought it from a local pasar malam few months back!! haha....

  so anyway....after a long conversation...i knew exactly what had happened..i told her,hey its not like u didn't see it coming right? in the end..i was right! i guess im always very accurate when it comes to judging something that im rather familiar with....a beauty pageant! so i flipped through the papers...and there it was..practically staring at my face...miss malaysia universe 2008 pageant..details...winners...and so so on....truthfully i wasn't keen...i saw it coming...it was just a matter of time...

  Okay so now....this is where the truth lies....but before i start...let me just say one thing! i am certainly not bias...i've done my fair share of judging when it comes to a pageant[not big ones but average ones only] and i know what kinda qualities ppl tend to look for.....AND i have nothing againts the winners...did they deserve it? [honestly..i dont think so]....no offence to anyone but seriously someone needs to stand up and say something to the organizers of the miss malaysia universe 2008...[specifically chairwoman,miss alice lee& co]

  so lets see.....this year's theme was..."real women behind the beauty]?? are u even sure about that? correct me if im wrong..but shouldn't it be...."real women with no experiences"[that should be the real theme behind the pageant]Every year.....14 to 15 girls take part in this so called big pageant....and yes[miss malaysia universe is certainly a huge pageant]-donald trump is the man behind the miss universe...but why is it....every year when it comes to crowning the winner...[the politics arise!] why do it so openly? obviously the organizers didn't feel that..anyone would realize...clearly they were all so wrong!! ....from my point of view....the criteria u need to win the crown/or become MMU is simple...trust me...there is no one else who knows it better than me[don't get me wrong...im not trying to be smart....instead u should pay good attention to me if u want to become a beauty queen someday] in other words..im helping u out...and if one day...u are up on that stage wearing "that" crown....just one request...[don't forget to thank me] hehe.....

  Notice how.....all the winners from the MMU pageant have all these things in common...

  1.fresh,new...no experience in any sort of beauty pageants before.[remember one thing girls..if u ever decide to take part in the MMU pageant...go ahead but when it comes to writing down your experiences...NEVEREVER write the other beauty pageants u've taken part in before...just state your a newbie and u HAVE NEVER EVER taken part in any pageants before!! so what if u lied? the world doesn't care...this is one lesson i've learned...and time and time again i tell my fellow friends what to expect and say..but does anybody listen? nope!! that is why...they never win!!

  2.not very attractive...[notice last years winner: adeline ??] okay..seriously malaysia can do so much better...the reason she won is because...the other better looking girls had better experiences in other pageants..and like i've been saying....THEY WANT a newbie!! so plz dont try to be all smart like me....to tell 'em all your great experieces in this industry...sometimes it is better to be a nobody!! cos u might end up winning!!

  3.they tend to not stand out.....basically the" dark horse" of the competition..u might be thinking? eh how come? i thought the other girls....were so much better in everything!! mmhhh..life sucks...yes it is unfair at times!

  I questioned myself 3 years ago......what happened to the truth? so being honest is a crime now lar? if i had known...i'll prob. be miss malaysia universe 3 years ago....i would have lied all the way.....thinking back..it wasn't worth it at all... it was by far..my worst pageant ever!! not only did i walked out empty handed...but i didn't even get into the top 5 and in all my years of participating in a pageant..i've gotten as far as being atleast top 5 lar okay.....i am not trying to sound arrogant or anything but c'mon...u know how it is when u know..u did your best and there is no way the other girls did better than u....the humiliation and shamed was unbearable!! i entered the pageant as the most experience contestant..i had 2 titles in my hand and just returned from an international pageant in 2005...the girls obviously felt intimidated but i was completely modest through out the competition..i shared my experiences and thought the other girls what to do...but what i got back was nothing but a bad encounter..i remember crying for days...and mom would say...its okay,just pick up the pieces and move on...i even remembered how the press couldn't leave me alone..they would say in the papers..crowd fav.walked away with nothing! in so many years..i've never felt so devastated before...but that was 3 years ago....

  TODAY....i witnessed something similar that happened before...fair or not? u be the judge of it.....for some of u girls..who had taken part in this MMU pageant before would prob know exactly what im talking about....

  firstly....the organizers will show u a pic of a former beauty queen who once posed nude for some beer commercial and how they will tell u....oh u better not do such crazeeee stunts or you'll be stripped off your title..bla bla bla....

  then...they will ask u write down your experiences....and lets face it..girls will be girls...always want to out do one another..so the list of experiences will never end..in order to create the tension-ness between one another...[NOTE: THIS IS ACTUALLY A SCAM GIRLS..NEvEr FALL FOR IT...the organizers just want u to reveal the truth so at the end of the day...they will know who not to pick] later....miss alice lee will call all the girls to a room to hold.touch/feel the trophies/crown...so atleast u'll be a lil semangat to win the pageant.

  The judges are always to same ppl every year...unlike the miss malaysia world pageant...what does that say? the organizers are buying the judges to shut the hell up!!! typical for a pathetic person.

  THIS one is very important...bear in mind that through out the competition..there will be subtitles given away...usually if im not wrong...if u win the first subtitle..u will win all the way!! serious shit!! and if u keep on winning sub titles..u'll prob take the crown! and every year...since andrea fonseka's year....the winner will win atleast 5 subtitles. and the rest..well will be divided to the other girls with no experiences as well...dont believe me? well ask around....AND the very very experience ones..will walk away with nothing? seriously what kinda beauty pageant are we looking at? so are u trying to tell me....girls with no pageant experience are better off than the girls who have? do not treat us like dumb ass...and the best part is yet to come...girls who walk away from the MMU pageant with nothing are usually the best looking ones and the most experience ones..let me give u a few example:

  lets start with this years contestant....

  1.soo wincci...who is she? miss malaysia chinatown 2005 1st runnerup,miss malaysia world top5 2004,and she is the national winner for miss intercontinental and represented m'sia to china for the international level..just completed her degree and graduated from uk....beauty+brains....seriously she is one of the better looking girls! what did she win? NOTHING!!

  2.Audrey ng....fhm model...numerous titles...[miss m'sai world finalsit,miss tourism queen,miss other things...[cant really remember] haha...miss cheogsam 2008?? also one of the better looking girls in the competition...what did she win? nothing!1

  3.jezamine....a great/confident beauty title holder....have u heard her delivering speeches? wow!! powerful and confident!! she looks mix but only thing is...she's experience!! so that a no no.

  4.valerie chan? well okay she's 2nd runner up! but honestly i expected her to win..considering she's experience but she hasn't won any titles yet.....so i thought she'll be the winner...but clearly thay wanted someone who is fresh!

  AND lets not forget..last years contestant...we had

  1.marina...miss malaysia world 2006 most beautiful skin winner...and now a model in new york!! did she win anything? NOPE!! im afraid not...

  2.amanda eng...miss malaysia world 2006...most popular sub-title!! and let me just say..[miss popular and miss friendly is usually the hardest title to win] because it is decided by voters not the judges! did she win anything? NOPE!!

  And c'mon the sponsors ain't that blind....so you are telling me all 16 sponsors agreed on one particular person? 14 beautiful girls....5 potential winners...and 1 winner...however...having said that, the sponsors are just there for "show" perhaps out of the 14 girls..the organizers will only allow 'em to choose the best 3 inexperience ones they feel suited for the crown... what happens to the rest of the other potential girls??

  oh i know..i know...kept hidden away from the truth...if possible the potential girls are the ones least expected to win....

  so...in conclusion,u be the judge of it? this years winner is...levy su?? the best? no. but i googled her...and true enough....no experience in any pageants or what so ever! but i found her blog...amazingly she looks better on her blog...just one word...lucky!! and 1st runner up? jean thor? her command in english..seriously???/?!! but she has a sweet smile....check out my friends blog[cassandra] she's one of my friends on xanga...check out the pics!! but congrats to 'em anyway.....

  so the main question is....am i surprise/shocked? NO. i expected it.....i guess im just so upset about this whole MMU thingy...because each time the pageant is held..nothing is fair!! politics in beauty pageants are normal but this one is...way way over!! i consider it....a fake!

  Basically...if the judges say otherwise....the final decision is still made by the orgANIZING committee...i've witnessed the whole truth.and nothing but the truth....behind the scenes and everything!! and its such an ugly picture..

  p/s: seriously there is no reason for me to lie about such things...

  Prize money 25k? wow the largest amount so far in any pageant...but who is funding it? haha... i know..and u know...but i shouldn't reveal it...for the best of both world i guess....

  p/s: incase ur prob wondering....after the MMu pageant in 2005...i managed to stand on my feet once again and gathered back all my confidence..i took part in another beauty pageant...and won!! how bizarre!!!

  I needed to share my feelings.....to those who know what im talking about..will prob agree with me...for others,well they prob. would say...oh im such a sore loser...seriously looking back..i don't regret joining the pageant at all....i feel blessed and fortunate for having the opportunity to experience such things in life....if i didn't..i would not able to share this with other aspiring beauty queens...

  just remember the things i've said and u'll be on your way to winning that crown soon...there is always next year? hehe...goodluck! cheers.
